Intel Hyper-Threading Interview

Logan sits down with Mike Lavacot from Intel to discuss what every CPU buyer craves, speed and performance. The first of many interviews talks about Intel's Hyper-Threading technology. Hyper-Threading Technology uses processor resources more efficiently, enabling multiple threads to run on each core. As a performance feature, Hyper-Threading also increases processor throughput, improving overall performance on threaded software. As the video explains this allows a dual core i3 or i5 system to run on 4 virtual cores and a i7 one to run on 8, basically doubling your physical cores virtually.
